In Antwerp, ordered in the morning, delivered the same day.
Parts that must reach Berchem before noon, extra stock between two shops on the Meir, an urgent collection from a warehouse in the port: Shippr delivers them in D0, before the day is out, across Antwerp’s 10 districts, choosing the vehicle by the address, the volume and the zone’s delivery window.

What gets a morning order there before evening
The centre runs on fixed hours
Around the Meir, vehicles deliver from 5am to 11am and again from 7pm to 10pm; in the historic centre, from 7am to 11am. An order placed at noon for a shop in the centre therefore goes out in the evening, or to an address outside the zone. You know when you book, not when the driver is facing the bollard.
The LEZ, settled at booking
When an order lands at 10am, nobody has time to look up a van’s Euro standard. The inner city and the Left Bank are in the LEZ, 24 hours a day, with cameras at the entrances: the vehicle we book is allowed in, with no day pass.
The Ring and Oosterweel
Crossing Antwerp usually means the Ring, where the Oosterweel works move the slip roads from month to month, then 30 km/h through the neighbourhoods. Our planning and routing algorithms start from that day’s road network, and the time your recipient is given is the time they will see.
Local rules checked in October 2026.
How we run it
One team from the first call to handover
In Antwerp, time is lost around the road rather than on it: finding a courier who is free, checking the van is allowed into the LEZ, fitting the handover into a pedestrian zone’s window, then calling the driver and the recipient until the goods are handed over. That follow-up, more than the journey, is what costs your team time and strain, and it is what we take on.
We need to know where it starts, where it goes, how much and by when. An order rarely goes to a single address, so we put the destinations into a multi-drop round ordered on each one’s slot, with city-centre drops in the morning when the zone requires it. A partner courier based in Antwerp takes the job with the right vehicle, from a van to a 20 m³ lorry, and the goods stay on board until they reach their recipient: no sorting centre in between.
Workshops and maintenance teams waiting on a spare part to get a machine running again, in the port or in town, and store networks arranging a store-to-store transfer.
A food wholesaler or a caterer whose customer asks in the morning for something extra by lunchtime.
The service is the same in all our cities. In Antwerp it starts from the LEZ, the pedestrian-zone windows and the works on the Ring.
Tailor-made
An organisation that fits your everyday
A collection at a supplier, a restocking round or orders to deliver to your customers: Shippr organises your transport the same day, from the first to the last mile.
Together we define the vehicles, the time slots and the instructions that suit your volumes, your packaging and the storage requirements of your goods. For a one-off job as much as for regular rounds, our operations team coordinates the partners, follows the deliveries and stays your point of contact when something unexpected comes up.
Operational efficiency
Less handling, a smoother flow
Your goods travel from the collection point to their destinations without passing through a sorting centre. Fewer intermediate handlings means less risk of breakage, and the chance to cut back on over-packaging and save on your packaging costs, while keeping the packaging your products need.
The Shippr team follows the progress of the deliveries, coordinates the exchanges with the partners and steps in when something unexpected happens. From your dashboard you find the statuses and the proof of receipt, to inform your customers and organise the rest of your activity.
Save time
Your deliveries move. So does your business.
Free your teams from organising transport day after day. Finding partners, passing on the instructions, coordinating and following the rounds: Shippr takes it over, so you can spend more time on your customers and your growth.
A driver who drops out, a blocked access or a peak in orders? Our operations team looks for solutions, coordinates the adjustments and keeps you informed. You keep sight of your deliveries, with one point of contact to help you through the decisions that need making.
Frequently asked questions
Same day in Antwerp: your questions
How late can I book a delivery for today in Antwerp?
It depends on the address. Outside a pedestrian zone, we arrange a collection and a handover within the day. In a pedestrian or low-traffic zone the handover has to fall inside the window on the sign: if the morning one has passed, we aim for the evening one where the zone has it.
What does D0 delivery mean?
The day of the order, which our customers write as D0 in their tenders, as against the D+1 of a standard carrier. In Antwerp it means collection and handover before the end of the day, inside the address’s window.
Can you link the port and the city within the day?
Yes. A warehouse in the port area, on either bank, and an address in town are linked like any other journey, allowing for the crossing under the Scheldt and the LEZ at the other end.
How big a vehicle can you send?
Anything from a van for a few boxes or pallets to a 20 m³ lorry for bulky goods, chosen by your load and by access at the address.
Where is my delivery now?
Your dashboard shows the vehicle’s position live, then the photo and signature for each drop. Your recipient gets notifications until it arrives.
Something that has to be in Antwerp by tonight?
Send us the collection, the destinations and the cut-off time. We confirm the vehicle and the expected arrival.
