Delivering in the Rennes Métropole

We prepare your Rennes deliveries around the Métropole’s traffic rules

Inside the ring road, we send a vehicle that displays its Crit’Air sticker

The low-emission zone (ZFE) covers the area inside the ring road, across six municipalities including Rennes, Cesson-Sévigné and Chantepie; the ring road itself is not part of it. A Crit’Air sticker is compulsory there for every vehicle, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except on 1 May. For your customers in the zone, we send a vehicle that is allowed in; a delivery that stays outside it is not affected.

Monday to Saturday, we deliver to the pedestrian areas from 6am to 11.30am or from 6.30pm to 8pm

Automatic bollards control access to some streets of the city centre and the area around it. Monday to Saturday, deliveries are allowed there from 6am to 11.30am and from 6.30pm to 8pm; outside these hours, any access needs prior authorisation from the City of Rennes. When you book, we plan the handover for each of your customers in these streets within one of the two windows.

For your customers in the historic centre, we allow for the limited-traffic zone at 20 km/h

A limited-traffic zone covers the historic centre of Rennes: not every vehicle may enter, pedestrians and cyclists have priority, and the speed limit is 20 km/h. Delivery drivers are allowed in with proof, an order form or a delivery note. For your customers there, we allow for that stretch at 20 km/h in the handover time we quote you.

Local rules checked in October 2026.

Rennes and its metropolitan area

From inside the ring road out to Bécherel, we deliver across the whole Métropole

Rennes Métropole brings together 43 municipalities: Rennes and, around it, municipalities such as Betton, Pacé, Bruz or Acigné. Three rules apply to a delivery there. Inside the ring road, the low-emission zone requires a Crit’Air sticker on every vehicle, day and night. In the centre, automatic bollards close the pedestrian areas outside delivery hours. In the historic centre, only certain vehicles may enter the limited-traffic zone. Rennes has also become a ‘ville à 30’, a 30 km/h town.

Most of our work is refrigerated transport, chilled and frozen, and in Rennes we organise it around 6am, the time from which deliveries are allowed in the pedestrian areas. The courier collects your products at night or before dawn, from your central kitchen or your wholesaler, then, as a night delivery, delivers to your restaurants on the pedestrian streets Monday to Saturday from 6am and to your customers in Saint-Grégoire or Chantepie before they open to the public. When no one has arrived yet, they let themselves in with the codes or keys you entrust to them and put your products away in the cold room.

Our team follows every job daily from 6am to 10pm, and the proof of every handover stays in your dashboard. If your order for a pedestrian street does not fit into the morning window, we plan it between 6.30pm and 8pm, Monday to Saturday, when you book.

The courier goes from your site to each of your customers, with no detour through a depot

A vehicle is reserved for your goods for the whole job: it carries nothing else and goes through no sorting centre. A supplier in Vern-sur-Seiche can restock several shops in the centre this way, or a workshop in Chartres-de-Bretagne can receive the part it was waiting for in the afternoon. Most of your jobs have several destinations, which we arrange into a multi-drop round: the pedestrian streets in their morning or evening window, the outlying municipalities in between. That is how our same-day delivery works.

We also operate your runs between the Métropole and other regions

Your warehouse in Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande ships to a customer in another region, or your shops in Rennes are waiting for stock from a distant site: one of our partner couriers makes the journey with a vehicle reserved for your goods.

Our services in Rennes

Our whole range works in Rennes, and two services have a page of their own there

Two delivery windows in the pedestrian streets, one in the morning and one in the early evening, change how we deliver the same day; we organise our refrigerated rounds around the time your customers open. Regular rounds, night deliveries or store-to-store transfers: the rest of our services work here as in our other cities.

Frequently asked questions

What you ask us before having goods delivered in Rennes

My customer is in a residential district of Cesson-Sévigné: are they in the low-emission zone?

No. Cesson-Sévigné is one of the zone’s six municipalities, but its residential districts are not included. We deliver to your customer either way, as in each of the 43 municipalities of Rennes Métropole, and we tell you when you book whether their address needs a vehicle with a Crit’Air sticker.

My warehouse is in Pacé: does the low-emission zone affect my deliveries?

Yes, for your customers inside the ring road. Pacé is not in the zone, which covers Rennes, Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande, Saint-Grégoire, Cesson-Sévigné, Chantepie and Noyal-Châtillon-sur-Seiche, and the ring road itself is not part of it. As soon as the courier enters the zone, their vehicle must display a Crit’Air sticker: for these deliveries, we send a vehicle that is allowed in.

Can you deliver to my shop on a pedestrian street after 11.30am?

Yes, Monday to Saturday between 6.30pm and 8pm, the second window when deliveries are allowed in the pedestrian areas. Outside these hours and the morning ones, from 6am to 11.30am, access needs prior authorisation from the City of Rennes: we tell you when you book whether your delivery needs it.
