Delivery · Brussels

Your deliveries in Brussels, the same day.

Shippr was founded in Brussels in 2017 and organises deliveries for businesses there, from collection at a supplier to handover to the recipient, across the 19 communes of the Region.

Low-emission zone, pedestrian zone, 30 km/h city: we choose the vehicle and the time slot that suit each address, and our team follows the delivery until it is handed over.

Delivering in Brussels

What the city requires, and how we organise it

Low-emission zone

The 19 communes form a low-emission zone, in force 24 hours a day and enforced by cameras. Since 1 January 2026, diesel vans rated Euro 5 or older have not been allowed in, on pain of a €350 fine. We send a vehicle that is allowed: there is nothing for you to check.

City-centre pedestrian zone

In the pedestrian zone in the city centre, vehicles may only deliver between 4am and 11am. For an address in the zone, we plan the handover inside that window, or switch to a cargo bike when the volume and the weather allow.

A 30 km/h city

Since 2021, the speed limit has been 30 km/h on most roads in the Region. Our planning and routing algorithms allow for it, so your recipient knows when to be there.

The early-morning market

Mabru, the wholesale market on Quai des Usines, works through the night for food professionals. We organise collections from wholesalers and rounds to your restaurants and shops before they open.

The Ring and the outskirts

The Ring is outside the low-emission zone; everything inside it is in. For a collection on the outskirts and a delivery in town, the destination decides the vehicle.

Cargo bike

For small volumes in the Pentagon and the densest communes, a cargo bike gets through where a van is still looking for a space. It rides in the low-emission zone with no conditions.

Local rules checked in September 2026.

Our home market

Brussels, the city where Shippr began

Shippr was founded in Brussels in 2017, and our head office is still on Avenue Louise. This is where we learned what a city delivery really takes: a vehicle that is allowed in, a time slot the recipient can keep, and someone who picks up the phone when an entrance is blocked.

Collections and deliveries with no stop at a depot

Your goods travel in a vehicle reserved for your job, from the collection point to the planned destinations, with no stop at a depot or a sorting centre. In Brussels, that means you can supply your shops from your workshop in Anderlecht, for example, or organise a transfer between shops within the day.

That is the principle of our same-day delivery: you give us the addresses, the volumes and the time slots, and we find the right partner and the right vehicle, from a cargo bike to a 20 m³ truck.

Cold, at the pace of your supplies

For wholesalers, caterers and central kitchens, the day in Brussels starts before opening time. We organise refrigerated transport for your chilled and frozen products, as a one-off delivery or a regular round, including at night when your customers take delivery before service.

That is what we do for Debaenst, a meat wholesaler: refrigerated night deliveries from Mons to many delivery points in and around Brussels. Read the case study.

A team in Brussels, reachable 7 days a week

A driver held up on the inner ring, a loading bay that is taken, a recipient who is out: the Shippr team follows your deliveries, lets you know and looks for a solution. You have a point of contact from 6am to 10pm, every day, and your dashboard shows real-time tracking, photos and proof-of-delivery signatures.

Beyond the 19 communes

Brussels is where we started, not where we stop: we deliver throughout Belgium. A round can leave Brussels for Walloon Brabant or Flemish Brabant, or come into town from a warehouse on the outskirts.

Frequently asked questions

Delivering in Brussels: what we are asked

Do you deliver in all 19 communes of Brussels?

Yes. We collect and deliver across the Brussels-Capital Region, from Anderlecht to Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, and everywhere else in Belgium.

Can your vehicles drive in the low-emission zone?

The zone covers the 19 communes, 24 hours a day. Since 1 January 2026, diesel vans rated Euro 5 or older have not been allowed in.

For a delivery in Brussels, we send a partner whose vehicle is allowed in the zone. You have no pass to buy and no standard to check.

Can you deliver in the city-centre pedestrian zone?

Yes. Vehicles deliver there between 4am and 11am, and we plan the handover inside that window. For small volumes, a cargo bike is an alternative outside those hours.

How quickly can a delivery be organised?

Within the day. You give us the addresses, the volumes and the time slot you want; we find the right partner and the right vehicle, and you follow the delivery in real time.

Do you run regular rounds in Brussels?

Yes. Restocking shops, supplying restaurants, refrigerated rounds: we organise regular runs, with the same team following them.

Are you a courier in Brussels?
