Delivery · Antwerp

Your deliveries in Antwerp, the same day.

Shippr takes on business deliveries in Antwerp with partner couriers based in the city: collection from your warehouse, workshop or kitchen, handover to the recipient, from the old town out to Wilrijk, Merksem or Ekeren.

Between the LEZ, the pedestrian-zone windows and the works on the Ring, every address has its rule: we know it before we book the vehicle, and our team stays reachable until handover.

Antwerp’s rules

Six Antwerp rules, and our answer to each

The LEZ, since 2017

The low-emission zone covers the inner city, from the Singel ring road to the Scheldt, plus the Left Bank, around the clock and camera-enforced. A Euro 4 or older diesel van now gets in only with a €45 day pass, twelve times a year at most; without one the fine is €150, rising to €250 and €350 for repeat offences. The vehicle we book is allowed in, with no pass.

Pedestrian and low-traffic zones

More than 150 zones are open to vehicles only for loading and unloading, within the hours on the sign: 5am–11am and 7pm–10pm around the Meir, 7am–11am in the historic centre. A supplier cannot get a permit outside them. We schedule each handover inside the address’s window.

30 km/h almost everywhere

Antwerp was the first city in Flanders to put almost all of its streets at 30 km/h, districts included; only the main roads allow more. Our planning and routing algorithms work at those 30 km/h, and the time your recipient is given allows for it.

Loading without a parking disc

In Antwerp, loading and unloading counts as stopping: no disc and no parking session, as long as the driver is working at the vehicle. Going beyond the recipient’s front door counts as parking. We give the driver the goods entrance and the on-site contact, so the handover fits inside the stop.

The Ring, under works

The LEZ stops at the Ring motorway; the Left Bank is part of it. The Oosterweel works close and reopen slip roads from one month to the next, so we plan each journey on that day’s road network, not on a map’s.

Wholesalers, at night

Central kitchens and food wholesalers prepare overnight what restaurants, shops and supermarkets receive in the morning. We collect as production ends and deliver before they open to the public.

Local rules checked in October 2026.

Antwerp and around

A city where every address has its own rules

In Antwerp, a delivery is decided before it leaves. The vehicle has to be allowed into the LEZ, the hour has to fall inside the pedestrian zone’s window, someone has to be there to receive it, and someone has to pick up the phone when a bollard stays up in front of the address. We deliver there with partner couriers based in the city, who know it street by street.

One vehicle for your job, no depot

The vehicle carries only your goods and runs from your collection point to your recipients, with no detour through an intermediate warehouse. In Antwerp that might mean supplying your city-centre shops from a warehouse in Wilrijk or in the port, or moving an item from one shop to another in the afternoon.

Most jobs have several destinations rather than one, and we plan them as a multi-drop round. Our same-day delivery runs this way, from a van to a 20 m³ lorry.

Before the shutters go up

Central kitchens, caterers and wholesalers mostly work at night, and their customers take deliveries before opening to the public. We run their refrigerated transport, chilled or frozen, and our night deliveries: collection as production ends or from the wholesaler, handover before opening time.

Your team stops chasing

A queue at the Kennedy Tunnel, a slip road shut by the Oosterweel works, a recipient on a break: the Shippr team takes over, tells whoever needs to know and finds the fix. That follow-up is what logistics really costs, in time and in stress, and it is what we take off your hands. Someone answers from 6am to 10pm, seven days a week, and the photos, signatures and live tracking stay in your dashboard.

Beyond the Ring

A round can start from a warehouse in the port or on the outskirts and serve your Antwerp customers, or link Antwerp with Mechelen, Brussels and the rest of the country: all of Belgium is within reach.

What we do in Antwerp

Two services that run differently here, and all the rest

In Antwerp, two of our services run differently: same-day, because of the city-centre windows, and refrigerated, because of the LEZ and the night hours. Each has its own page; the rest of what we do works here as it does anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions before a first delivery in Antwerp

Where in Antwerp do you deliver?

Across all 10 districts, from Berendrecht-Zandvliet-Lillo in the north to Hoboken and Wilrijk in the south, the Left Bank included. Borsbeek, a district since 2025, is one of them.

Do I need a particular vehicle for Antwerp’s LEZ?

Yes: a diesel van must be at least Euro 5 in the LEZ, which covers the inner city, from the Singel to the Scheldt, and the Left Bank, 24 hours a day. Below that it needs a day pass.

The vehicle we book for an address in the zone is allowed in: the pass, the standard and the registration are not your problem.

Can you deliver on the Meir or in the historic centre?

Yes, inside each zone’s window: 5am–11am and 7pm–10pm around the Meir, 7am–11am in the historic centre. The sign on the street is what counts, and we schedule the handover to match it.

Is the port covered too?

Yes. A collection from a warehouse in the port area and a delivery in town, or the other way round, is planned like any other journey: we choose the vehicle by the destination, since that is what decides whether it enters the LEZ.

Can we set up a fixed weekly round?

Yes, and it is most of what we do: the same days, the same addresses in the same order, followed by the same team. Shop restocks and restaurant supply almost always run that way.

A courier in Antwerp with your own vehicle?

With your van or refrigerated vehicle, take the Shippr jobs that start or end in Antwerp.

One address or fifty, once or every week: tell us where it starts and where it goes, and we come back with the vehicle and the plan.
