In Montpellier, two rules decide how we deliver. The first applies to the whole Métropole: the low-emission zone covers all 31 of its municipalities, and a van with a Crit’Air 3, 4 or 5 sticker is no longer allowed there. The second applies to the centre: the Écusson is entirely pedestrianised, and deliveries are allowed there only until 10am, or until 11am in Antigone. We take both into account before the courier sets off, not once they are on the road.
The drive to Garosud, Courpouyran or the Salaison park is exempt from the ZFE, the rest of the round is not
Your warehouse or workshop may be on a business park in the Métropole, at Garosud, in Saint-Jean-de-Védas or on the Salaison park in Vendargues, and your customers in the pedestrian streets of the centre. The Métropole’s order exempts the access routes to these parks from the ZFE, as it does the route to Courpouyran in Juvignac, but not the streets where your customers are: so the vehicle we send is allowed in the zone. The courier loads at your site and drives directly to them, in a vehicle that carries your goods and nothing else.
When you have several customers to deliver, we group them into a multi-drop round ordered by the city’s cut-off times: the Écusson first, before 10am, then Antigone, before 11am, and after that your customers in the rest of the Métropole. For an order to hand over within the day, our same-day delivery sends a vehicle sized to the load, from a 5 m³ van to a truck of more than 20 m³. Our team follows every delivery, every day from 6am to 10pm; in your dashboard, you follow it in real time, and the proof of delivery appears as soon as it is handed over.
The courier can load at the wholesale market’s cold store, where more than 60 distributors keep their stock
Refrigerated transport is the largest part of our business, chilled and frozen alike. In Montpellier, the courier has from 5am, when the fruit and vegetable wholesalers at the wholesale market open for trading on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, until 10am, when deliveries stop in the Écusson, to load your products and deliver to the centre; those trading hours can vary from one wholesaler to another. At the market’s refrigerated platform, more than 60 distributors and processors store food at three temperatures: if yours is there, the courier brings the vehicle to temperature, loads at its premises and hands over the orders for the restaurants in the centre first. If your central kitchen finishes production during the night, our night deliveries take over and the collection happens as production ends.
