Temperature

Temperature monitoring, recorded throughout the round

A connected sensor follows the temperature of your refrigerated compartment from collection to the last drop. You find the curve for every route in your dashboard, and our team contacts you as soon as a reading leaves your range.

What you see

The temperature of every round, in front of you

One curve for every route

Every refrigerated route has its curve in your dashboard, which you can open during the round and after it. Readings outside your range show in colour.

Your range, to a tenth of a degree

We set the acceptable range for your goods with you. The driver sees it in their app, next to the recorded temperature, in blue or in red.

Our team gets in touch

As soon as a reading leaves your range, our team receives a real-time alert, while the round is on, and contacts you to agree on what to do.

How it works

Step by step

  1. 01

    You set your range

0 to 4 °C for chilled goods, −20 °C for frozen: we save it on your account.

  2. 02

    The driver scans the sensor

At collection, they scan the sensor placed in the compartment. Without a sensor, they photograph the thermometer at least once an hour.

  3. 03

Readings come in every 10 minutes

Measurements arrive throughout the round. If one drifts, our team is alerted and contacts you.

  4. 04

    You find the curve

In your dashboard, route by route, next to the photos of every drop.

Frequently asked questions

Temperature monitoring

Does Shippr provide a temperature record?

Yes. Every refrigerated route has its temperature curve in your dashboard, recorded by a connected sensor every 10 minutes. You can open it during the round and after it, next to the photos of every drop.

What happens if the temperature leaves my range?

Our team receives a real-time alert as soon as a reading leaves your range, and contacts you to agree on what to do. The reading shows in colour on the route’s curve. The driver also sees, in their app, the recorded temperature next to the required range.

Is it available on every delivery?

No. Temperature monitoring applies to refrigerated deliveries, on the accounts we switch it on for, depending on your plan. Tell us what you deliver when you request a quote.

Can my chilled and frozen goods go on the same round?

Yes, in a multi-temperature vehicle: several compartments, each at its own temperature. We plan for one when you describe your goods to us.

What if the vehicle has no sensor?

The driver photographs the thermometer at collection, at the last destination and at least once an hour, and cannot leave a destination while a photo is missing. Our team reads every photo and records the temperature, which you find with the delivery’s proofs.
