Strasbourg · Same-day delivery

In Strasbourg and across its metropolitan area, we deliver your orders the same day.

When you order in the morning, one of our partner couriers in Strasbourg collects your goods and hands them over the same day, D0, to your customer in the Eurométropole: a missing part for a shop on the Grande Île, Strasbourg’s historic centre, before 10:30am, for example, or a restock for a shop in Illkirch-Graffenstaden in the afternoon.

For a same-day order in Strasbourg, we plan around the Grande Île rules and the ZFE

We serve the Grande Île first, to hand over your orders there before 10:30am

The Grande Île is open to delivery vehicles from 6am to 10:30am, pedestrian streets included; after that, entry needs an exemption. So a same-day order for the centre goes at the start of the round, and the courier then carries on to your other customers. When an order comes in too late for that morning, we tell you when you book it.

Across the 33 municipalities, we deliver your same-day order in a vehicle allowed in the ZFE

The low-emission zone applies at all hours, to light vans and lorries alike, and its rules bar vehicles with no sticker or rated Crit’Air 4 or 5 from driving in it. We choose the size from your volume, from a 5 m³ van to a truck, then a partner whose vehicle of that size is allowed in the zone.

During the Christmas market, we deliver to the centre in the morning and to your other customers during the day

During the Christmas market, deliveries on the Grande Île are limited to the morning, and car traffic is banned there from late morning until the evening. A same-day order for the centre therefore has to be loaded in time to be handed over that morning; if it comes in too late, we tell you when you book. The rest of the Eurométropole is not affected: your customers in Schiltigheim or Ostwald are served within their receiving hours. The hours change from one year to the next, and we place your handover within those the city publishes for that year.

Local rules checked in October 2026.

How we work

On the day of your order, we link your destinations across the Eurométropole into one round

In Strasbourg, a same-day delivery to the centre depends on the morning: delivery vehicles leave the Grande Île at 10:30am, pedestrian streets included, and come back after that only with an exemption. An order for a shop in the centre is scheduled within that window, or we tell you when you book that it no longer can be, and the same courier then carries on to Schiltigheim, Ostwald or Illkirch-Graffenstaden, where each of your customers takes delivery at their own hours.

You give us the collection address, your recipients, the volume and the time expected at each. Our planning and routing algorithms turn that into a multi-drop round that starts with the Grande Île and continues into the other municipalities. The job goes to one of our partner couriers in Strasbourg, with a van or a truck chosen for your volume, which carries only your goods. As the whole Eurométropole is a low-emission zone, that vehicle is allowed in it. The dashboard shows the vehicle in real time, then the proof of each handover. Every day from 6am to 10pm, our team follows your deliveries: if a handover in the centre risks arriving after 10:30am, it calls the courier and your customer, and contacts you when the decision is yours.

The service

What our same-day delivery (D0) includes

The service is the same in every city. In Strasbourg, we fit it to the Grande Île morning delivery window, a ZFE covering the whole Eurométropole and the Christmas market measures.

Tailor-made

An organisation that fits your everyday

A collection at a supplier, a restocking round or orders to deliver to your customers: Shippr organises your transport the same day, from the first to the last mile.

Together we define the vehicles, the time slots and the instructions that suit your volumes, your packaging and the storage requirements of your goods. For a one-off job as much as for regular rounds, our operations team coordinates the partners, follows the deliveries and stays your point of contact when something unexpected comes up.

Operational efficiency

Less handling, a smoother flow

Your goods travel from the collection point to their destinations without passing through a sorting centre. Fewer intermediate handlings means less risk of breakage, and the chance to cut back on over-packaging and save on your packaging costs, while keeping the packaging your products need.

The Shippr team follows the progress of the deliveries, coordinates the exchanges with the partners and steps in when something unexpected happens. From your dashboard you find the statuses and the proof of receipt, to inform your customers and organise the rest of your activity.

Frequently asked questions

What you ask us about the order cut-off and the Grande Île morning

What does D0 mean?

Day zero: we collect and hand over your consignment on the day you order it, where a standard carrier delivers on D+1. On the Grande Île, for example, we schedule that handover between 6am and 10:30am.

How late can I order for a delivery today?

It depends on your customer. On the Grande Île, the handover must take place before 10:30am, when deliveries by vehicle end; elsewhere in the Eurométropole, we deliver during your customer’s delivery hours. When you book, we confirm the handover time, or tell you it is too late for that day.

Do you also deliver the same day to Vendenheim or Eschau?

Yes, as in every municipality of the Eurométropole. Both are outside the Grande Île: your customer there is served during their delivery hours, which we confirm when you book.

My shop is on the Grande Île and my order will only be ready mid-morning: can you deliver it today?

Yes, if the courier can hand it over before 10:30am, when deliveries by vehicle end on the Grande Île: when you book, we confirm the handover time from the collection address. If it would fall after 10:30am, we tell you then, as entry would need an exemption.

Do you have an order to hand over today on the Grande Île or in Schiltigheim?

Give us the collection address, your recipients and the latest time at each. We confirm the vehicle and the time of each handover, with those on the Grande Île first in the round.
