Nantes · Same-day delivery

In Nantes, we deliver to your customers the same day, from Rezé to Carquefou.

Our partner couriers in Nantes collect your goods and hand them to your customers on the day you order, on D0, across the Métropole’s 24 municipalities: a restock for a shop on a pedestrian street in the city centre delivered before 11.30am, for example, or a part a workshop in Saint-Herblain is waiting for in the afternoon. We choose the vehicle for your volume and plan each handover in the delivery window your customer gives us.

D0 in Nantes

Two City of Nantes rules and the wholesale market’s hours decide where and when we deliver your same-day order

In the city centre, we plan the courier’s stop and your handover before 11.30am when you book

In the city centre, every vehicle delivers from 4am to 11.30am. In a pedestrian area, where no bay is marked, the courier enters with the ‘livraison’ (delivery) button on the bollard and stops in the roadway, for 20 minutes at most. In the regulated zone, they stop in a loading bay, for 30 minutes at most, with a pink delivery disc, and stay close to their vehicle. For a same-day order bound for the city centre, we plan when you book where the courier stops and a collection early enough to hand the order over before 11.30am, and we tell you if that is no longer possible.

In the rest of the city of Nantes, we also deliver a morning order in the afternoon

Outside the city centre, the city of Nantes sets no delivery hours and no weight limit: the courier hands over there in the afternoon, in a truck if your volume calls for one, an order placed that morning, within your customer’s receiving hours. In the other municipalities of the Métropole, such as Rezé, Orvault or Carquefou, we also deliver your orders the same day, within your customer’s receiving hours.

We collect your same-day order from your wholesaler at the Rezé wholesale market as soon as it is ready

The MIN Nantes Métropole, the wholesale market in Rezé, is open to trade buyers only, from 4.30am to 8pm, Monday to Saturday. When you top up your purchases from your wholesaler during the day, the courier collects them as soon as they are ready and delivers them to you the same day, before 11.30am if your address is in the city centre.

Local rules checked in October 2026.

How we work

We deliver within the day to your customers in Nantes as well as in Orvault, Vertou or Saint-Herblain

In Nantes, a same-day delivery depends above all on your customer’s address. In the city centre, every vehicle delivers from 4am to 11.30am: when you order mid-morning for a shop on a pedestrian street, we have little time to deliver it before 11.30am. Elsewhere in Nantes and in the Métropole’s other municipalities, we deliver whenever your customer can receive the goods: an order placed in the afternoon for Rezé, Orvault or Carquefou can still be delivered the same day.

You give us the collection address, your customers’ addresses, the volume and the time at which each one must be delivered. Our planning and routing algorithms arrange the addresses into a multi-drop round that covers the city centre before 11.30am, then the rest of the Métropole. One of our partner couriers in Nantes takes the job with a van or a truck reserved for your goods and stops only at your recipients. You follow the vehicle in real time in your dashboard, then the proof of each delivery. Our team follows your deliveries every day from 6am to 10pm: when a city-centre handover risks running past 11.30am, they reach the courier and your customer, and call you if a decision is yours to make.

The service

What our same-day delivery (D0) includes

These three elements apply in all our cities; in Nantes, we set them by the city centre’s delivery hours, from 4am to 11.30am.

Tailor-made

An organisation that fits your everyday

A collection at a supplier, a restocking round or orders to deliver to your customers: Shippr organises your transport the same day, from the first to the last mile.

Together we define the vehicles, the time slots and the instructions that suit your volumes, your packaging and the storage requirements of your goods. For a one-off job as much as for regular rounds, our operations team coordinates the partners, follows the deliveries and stays your point of contact when something unexpected comes up.

Operational efficiency

Less handling, a smoother flow

Your goods travel from the collection point to their destinations without passing through a sorting centre. Fewer intermediate handlings means less risk of breakage, and the chance to cut back on over-packaging and save on your packaging costs, while keeping the packaging your products need.

The Shippr team follows the progress of the deliveries, coordinates the exchanges with the partners and steps in when something unexpected happens. From your dashboard you find the statuses and the proof of receipt, to inform your customers and organise the rest of your activity.

Frequently asked questions

What you ask us before a same-day delivery in Nantes

What does D0 mean?

Day zero: we collect your goods and hand them over on the day you order, where a traditional carrier delivers the next day. In Nantes, a same-day handover in the city centre takes place before 11.30am, and elsewhere in the Métropole, within your customer’s receiving hours.

Until what time can I order for a delivery today?

For a customer in the city centre, order early enough for us to deliver before 11.30am. For the rest of the Métropole there is no city-centre cut-off: order in the early afternoon and we still deliver today, when your customer can receive the goods. When you book, we confirm the handover time, or tell you that the order can no longer leave today.

My customer is in the limited traffic zone of the Cours des 50 Otages: can you deliver to them the same day?

Yes, before 11.30am, as in the rest of the city centre. Traffic is banned there without an authorisation, but the courier enters with your order’s delivery note, which shows that your customer is their destination. For an order placed in the morning, we tell you when you book whether the handover can still take place before 11.30am.

Do you deliver the same day to Vertou or La Chapelle-sur-Erdre?

Yes, as in all 24 municipalities of Nantes Métropole. In both, we deliver within your customer’s receiving hours and confirm the handover time when you book.

Do you have customers to deliver to today in central Nantes or the Métropole?

Send us the collection address and your customers’ addresses, flagging those in the city centre, which we deliver before 11.30am. We come back to you with the vehicle chosen and the planned time for each handover.
