What decides a same-day delivery in Birmingham
An order placed in the morning for an address inside the Middleway has no time to wait for a Euro standard check. We give the job to a van that already complies with the Clean Air Zone, diesel Euro 6, petrol Euro 4 or electric, so you never pay the £8 daily charge a non-compliant van would incur.
A same-day delivery often arrives in the afternoon, when some bus lanes are in force: on Harborne Road, from 4pm to 7pm, Monday to Saturday. We place the stop before or after those hours, or on a nearby street, and the arrival time we give you allows for it.
A parking dispensation must be applied for at least 48 hours in advance: for an order placed in the morning, it comes too late. So from the moment you book, we choose a stop that is already permitted at the arrival time.
